HR Business Partner to join our Talent team in Montreal.

What will you do?:

  • Serve as business partner to designated business units to enable the execution of Allied's strategic objectives through an empowering Talent strategy.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Manage employee relations and serve as trusted advisor on all human resources matters.
  • Coach managers in their communication, feedback, and performance conversations.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment.
  • Provide guidance on business unit restructuring, workforce and succession planning.
  • Identify training needs and develop programs for business units and individual coaching needs.
  • Lead and support the creation, implementation and delivery of companywide projects and initiatives.
  • Be an ambassador of the company's culture and values, ensuring the employee experience is consistent with the Allied brand.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide expertise in all areas: compensation, benefits, retirement savings programs, performance, and disability management.
  • Assist in onboarding new employees.
  • Lead the human resources data and system strategy to maximize our technology investment, improve efficiency and produce important talent related data.
  • Office Services:_
  • Manage and support the Receptionist/Office Coordinator.
  • Ensure efficient operation of overall office by implementing improvements, efficiencies and administrative support.
  • Manage office responsibilities, including office budget and programs.

What are we looking for?:

  • A postsecondary degree or certificate.
  • 5 years of human resources experience supporting the needs of a growing organization.
  • Experience advising and coaching clients in a wide array of human resources issues.
  • Experience leading and delivering tailored HR programs and services that support business objectives.
  • Solid decision making.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver training programs.
  • An assertive selfstarter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Bilingual in French and English is a requirement.
  • Experience using ADP Workforce Now is an asset.
