Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Make a training template for packaging operator/kettle operator with the help of senior operators. This training template will need to be adapted for each line in packaging and for the full role of cheese maker. This training template will be the major tool of the training kit that we want to implement.
  • Make a reference book for operators to check they have the right traceability for each costumer code. This work will be done with the help of the logistics and the quality area to be sure that the data matches costumer requirements.
  • Create a trouble shooting guide for 2 packaging equipment (Hart and MOD). This work will be done with the help of senior operators. This guide will also be introduced in the training kit.
  • Collect the parameters of each line from maintenance, senior operators, supervisors to create a "Parameter book" for each line. This book will help operators to set up packaging line, make the changeovers and will be introduced in the training
  • Establishing standards for cream cheese lines.

Education & Experience

  • Pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, BioChemical Engineering, Microbiology, or a related field of study + College

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Good knowledge of Excel Spreadsheets.
  • Basic understanding of processing procedures.
  • Manufacturing experience is an asset.
  • Process improvement focused.
  • Proven attention to details but also able to see the big picture.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Good communicator, listener and presenter.
  • Ability to adapt to changing culture/environments.
