Reporting to the ERP Lead, the Accounts Receivable Process Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end design and implementation of the Accounts Receivable to solution for all AC entities.

The individual will take part in a multi-year implementation project with the intent to continue in a similar role in the organization.


Key Functions and Responsibilities

  • Work in collaboration with the system integrator providing oversight and key input to the Accounts Receivable process development
  • Ensure AC's design principles are applied across all areas of the stream including unified processes using out of the box functionality and quality first
  • Responsible for the Accounts Receivable stream project updates to the ERP lead and Operational Committee on a regular basis
  • Identify and document gaps in out of the box functionality
  • Recognize risks that may impact the project outcomes and notify the appropriate parties
  • Work collaboratively with other Process Area Managers to ensure process intersection points are known and optimized.
  • Ensure design decisions are made through collaboration with business stakeholders
  • Implement adoption of standardized enterprisewide processes aligned with leading practices where possible.
  • Collaborate with all AC entities to obtain input and understand key areas that require differentiation.
  • Instruct and guide the Finance Business Analyst to completion of deliverables.
  • Provide input, review, and sign off on process documentation created by the Finance Business Analyst
  • Support change management activities such as fostering desire for change, training, documentation, and post go live support.

Qualifications

  • Accounting or Credit Management Accreditation (or equivalent experience)
  • Knowledge of credit and collections practices, i.e., granting, monitoring, and withdrawal of credit privileges is an asset
Proficiency with PC software (MSOffice, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven leadership qualities and strong sense of initiative
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude & familiarity with the technical environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and to multitask with a strong sense of priorities
