We are seeking
Design Students for our
Solar district, within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for
4 month or 8 months starting September 3rd, 2024.


As a
Solar Design Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews RFP documentation for key design requirements.
  • Designs, reviews and/or validates solar facility layouts relative to RFP documents using/creating plans, specifications, and other information.
  • Calculates energy losses for designs.
  • Prepares/draws detailed site layouts using electrical single line diagrams using AutoCAD.
  • Supports estimating with quantity takeoffs and preconstruction efforts (e.g. design coordination, constructability review, project planning).
  • Effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Develops and maintains strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders
