Ready to hit the open road of automotive tech? Read on...As Quorum's Intermediate Developer, you will participate in multiple projects, creating solutions that meet market needs relating to developing, testing, and maintaining products.

The Intermediate Developer is responsible for designing fully functioning, debugged code with required documentation that meets development goals.

You will build and maintain reliable software that delivers on Quorum's promises of speed, accuracy, and customer-centered designYou will make design choices that empower our customers and that support our mission and brandYou will interact with members of the Product Management team and the Product Development team to make sure that the voices of our users are heard and that our products work as expectedWhen bugs appear, you will help address them in a timely manner and put steps in place to prevent them in the futureGive and receive constructive feedback on design ideas and codeWrite automated tests with every feature that you shipYou will assist in mentoring and coaching other members of the development team when it comes to visual design and software architectureContributes to project goals, feature creation, development efforts, and deployment by writing codeAutomates and maintain code testingPerforms peer code reviews to ensure the security and quality of written code based on industry standardsUnderstands a primary code base at a structural level, follows style and security patternsUnderstands how to communicate and collaborate within the teamUnderstands and takes full advantage of the platforms and tooling within the organizationContributes to the completion of defined technical debt work within the primary code baseEvaluates and estimate individual feature workHere is the kind of candidate we are looking for:You have 3+ years of experience in Software Development, specifically with desktop applications.

You have a working knowledge of Git version control, along with a deep understanding of code management best practices, and cloud-based code repositories such as GitHub.

You have experience with development languages such as PowerBuilder, C# .NET, JSON, XML, transact SQL.You have a strong visual design background, and you care deeply about how users perceive the look and feel of the applications you buildYou have a knack for breaking down problems and you reason about systems from first principlesYou are a clear thinker and can effectively articulate your ideas to others through your speech and writingYou have a habit of writing automated tests to validate your assumptions, and to ensure the integrity of your code over timeYou have a solid understanding of the Scrum Framework, working in a Scrum Team and using Jira.

If you have experience with web development, it would be considered an asset.
