ERA Environmental Management Solutions specializes in web-based Environmental health and safety (EH&S)management software for over 33 industries, including the chemical, automotive, and oil & gas industries.

ERA's software combines three decades of environmental compliance and sustainability reporting expertise with cutting-edge technology to provide EH&S managers with the most accurate environmental and chemical data.


As a
Science Content Writer for our green technology company, you will work with our scientific, programming, and business teams to concisely present complex programming, scientific, and EH&S information.

You will use your love of language and learning to create meaningful stories and documentation, including website copy, infographics, help files, and more.

This is a full-time, salaried, entry-level position. Internship and educational experience can be considered as part of your portfolio. Our company currently has a fully work-from-home model for all employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing digital content for webpages and landing pages to educate our site visitors while keeping ERA ranking high in search engine result pages (SERPs). Similarly, writing content and structuring pages for our ongoing website renovation project.
  • Providing text and image suggestions for posts on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
  • Contributing to planning marketing campaigns alongside the Marketing Manager.
  • Researching corporate awards and writing submissions to awarding bodies.

Desired Qualities

  • Bachelor's degree in sciences, preferably environmental sciences, chemistry, toxicology, natural sciences, sustainability, and related sciences.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to write for a broader audience, including readers who have no scientific background.
  • Some familiarity with business communications, Search Engine Optimization, and the role of marketing.
  • Passion for marketing, lead generation, and various content creation avenues.
  • Experience managing complex projects across crossfunctional teams.
  • An analytical mind that can digest and translate complex scientific concepts and turn them into accessible materials.
  • Organizational and collaboration skills to juggle multiple projects and timelines.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
  • Qualified applicants will be asked to submit a short writing test prior to an interview.
