Aftermarket-spare Parts Advisor

Reporting to the Aftermarket Sales Manager, the Spare Parts Advisor is responsible for supporting activities related to the Aftermarket spare parts offered to our customers while ensuring customer satisfaction.

This person must demonstrate strong technical and interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service and support.

TASKS

  • Launch spare parts and Service Bulletins campaigns
  • Identify customer's needs for spare parts
  • Promote spare parts
  • Create quotes for spare parts and site visits on SalesForce
  • Create sales orders on Epicor for spare parts, site visits, or warranty items
  • Send quotes to applicable customers
  • Follow up with customers on provided quotes
  • Acknowledge reception of applicable POs
  • Process approved orders
  • Keep customers updated on the status of their orders
  • Advise Accounting when orders are ready to be invoiced
  • Keep records updated on SalesForce
  • Work with Purchasing to maintain an accurate filter/prefilter forecast and reorder accordingly to prevent back orders
  • Other tasks assigned by the Aftermarket Sales Manager

Qualifications / Education requirements

  • College degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience on a similar position
  • Innate talent for customer service
  • Excellent customer service and aftersales service skills
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Microsoft Outlook
  • Strong organization skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Demonstrated excellence in organizational, prioritization and multitasking skills
  • Collaborative individual who can work equally well independently and as part of a team
  • Bilingual: English & French
