The Specialty Sales Executive role has been designed to follow through on our long-standing promise to do right by our customers.

In a new era of disruption, speed and complexity, our Specialty sellers aren't simply selling the virtues of transformation. They are helping customers understand its limitations, too, optimizing the use of legacy technology, where appropriate.


You will work closely with the Manager of Specialty Sales, the local District Sales Leader, our Account Executives and professional and managed services to develop and set in motion advanced solutions, which in turn will help customers succeed and thrive into the future.


What you'll do:

  • Grow and develop transformational solutions and services that include a mix of Datacenter, Cloud, Workplace, Professional and Managed Services
  • Leverage the Challenger Sales methodology and an insightsdriven sales processes, along with a current knowledge of industry and technical trends, to customize solutions for customer needs and business goals
  • Collaborate with District Sales Teams and Leaders to create and execute a strategy to acquire new opportunities with targeted accounts
  • Build and maintain account and market penetration plans on assigned accounts
  • Quarterback opportunities from the point of assessing customer needs through closing deals and driving diversification
  • Engage presales and internal support to provide outstanding, endtoend service
  • Nurture strategic relationships with key partners and vendors
  • Share best practices and strategies with your peers and leadership to elevate the game of your colleagues

What you'll bring to the table:

  • Experience aligning business outcomes and initiatives with technology requirements.
  • A deep history of uncovering, developing and driving sales for legacy environments, such as compute, storage, networking (Data Center infrastructure), and onpremise workplace technologies
  • Strong understanding of Hybrid IT, Hybrid cloud and multicloud models, integrating solutions across Azure, AWS, GCP, Office 365 and Managed Services.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully developing and driving sales for Managed Services.
  • Experience proactively managing relationships at all organizational levels and mobilizing stakeholders to execute and meet key deliverables.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with a strong client services approach and excellent decisionmaking skills.

  • Ability to travel frequently within your Sales District (varies based on your specific district).
