We are currently seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians and technicians with exams, treatments, and procedures**
  • Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately during appointments

- Prepare examination rooms and medical equipment for procedures

- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinary staff

- Provide post-operative care and monitoring for surgical patients

- Perform laboratory tests, including blood draws and urinalysis

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic and kennel areas

- Assist with client education and communication regarding pet care and wellness

- Uphold clinic standards for patient care, safety, and sanitation

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in animal care, veterinary medicine, or a related field preferred**
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Veterinary Assistant certification a plus

- Passion for working with animals and promoting their health and well-being

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
