  • Your caring nature shines through as you always ensure that your clients remember how you make them feel because that is what matters the most;
  • You are consumed with exceptional customer experience, and you are known to put it front and centre always;
  • You earn and keep client trust and treat your clients like you would a trusted friend;
  • You value the quality of client interactions and 'sweat the details' by keeping track of these interactions;
  • You have a finger on the pulse of what the client wants and can anticipate this before the client;
  • You understand your clients thoroughly with systematic listening and constant observations;
  • You understand that effective community care for seniors involves home support and not just hands on personal cares
  • You are an expert at reading body language and nonverbal cues from clients
  • You manage your time like a "boss" and manage client expectations to be realistic and achieveable

The Work You Will Do:

  • You will be our eyes and ears in the home. You will build a trusted partnership with clients as their inhome care partner, following their lead, along with an established care and home maintenance plan; delivering the highest quality of home care with compassion, clarity and reliability.
  • You will provide inhome assistance as per the care and home maintenance plan such as; meal preparation, light housekeeping (dishes, general tidying, organizing, laundry, linen changes, plant care), social engagement activities, personal care, leisure activities etc.
  • You will collaborate with the Vyta Expert team to provide a consistent, ongoing provision of care in order to maintain emotional, physical and overall wellbeing of client as well as meet the safety of clients to the greatest possible extent
  • You will communicate client's care and current state in professional, compassionate and detailed manner upon every shift completion
  • You will relay valued insights to Vyta Expert team related to additional assistance or support Vyta may provide client
Job Qualification

  • Experience in the caring and service industry

  • such as hospitality, retail, community health care
  • Resourceful with flexible communication skills and styles
  • Patient with emotional resilience. Strong deescalating skills while remaining calm
  • PSW, DSW Certifications considered assets
  • Reliable mode of transportation
  • Must have received full series of COVID19 vaccine or combination of COVID19 vaccines as approved by Health Canada
