Duties and Responsibilities:

- to medium-sized research grants to Tri-Agency sources, as well as supporting and developing internal research programs and supports within the Faculty of Public Affairs.

Qualifications:

The incumbent must possess the following qualifications:

  • Knowledge of research and sector trends, project management, and business development
  • Knowledge of relevant governing legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Knowledge of office as well as the broader university academic units, departments, and divisions
  • Knowledge of project management
  • Knowledge of office productivity software and databases, internet browsers and search engines, discipline-specific software, enterprise software, and technology devices
  • Knowledge of cultural competency and diversity in a business context
  • Knowledge of common theories, methods and topics in the social sciences and humanities

Education and Experience:

The above is normally acquired through the completion of:

  • Doctoral degree (preferably in a social science and humanities discipline)
