Job Description:

Location: Inniskillin Estate Winery

Arterra Wines Canada is the top company in Canada for making and selling great Canadian and imported wines that win awards worldwide.

As a Winery Associate, your job is to give visitors the best experience possible by offering fun and informative tours and tastings to help boost sales.

For this role, we are looking for people with a background in hospitality and a good knowledge of wine. We need someone who is friendly, lively, and reliable, willing to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Duties/Responsibilities/Procedures:

  • Help customers with wine tastings and purchases
  • Lead tours of the winery and conduct tastings for groups
  • Provide top-notch customer service
  • Handle sales transactions and open/close duties on the computer system
  • Assist with special events and dinner service
  • Represent the winery at external events
  • Stock products and maintain cleanliness

Job Requirements:

  • Must have Smart Serve Certification
  • 18 years old or above
  • Team player with a drive to meet sales goals
  • Good problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Reliable, ambitious, and goal-driven
  • Prior retail experience required
  • Able to lift 40 lbs and stand for long periods
  • Previous serving experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of French, Chinese, Korean, or Japanese is an advantage
  • Wine knowledge is helpful but not mandatory, as training is provided
  • Available to work evenings and weekends
