Cheshire Independent Living Services is looking for Personal Attendants


Cheshire serves frail seniors and persons with significant disabilities to live actively and independently in their own homes and community.


Compensation:

Starting rate of pay $24,28 for direct care services (including applicable government enhancement subsidies of $3/hr)

  • Compensation for T
    ravel Time,
    Staff Education and Development or
    Team Meetings at $21.28/hr

PLUS Mileage Reimbursed at $0.43/km as applicable

Training:

Cheshire offers on-the-job training and development opportunities. Emergency First Aid and CPR (re)certification are also provided by Cheshire.

  • A desire to make a difference in the lives of others, every day.
  • Secondary School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • A valid Canadian Driver's License and have regular access to a reliable vehicle
  • Valid automobile insurance with liability coverage
  • Able to work a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends and understand the nature of our work and the importance of good attendance and reliability
