Positions Available
Sports Analyst Student - 4 months (May 2023 to August Canadian Tire Financial Services


The Sports Analyst Student will be paired with a full-time analyst to support national Sport organizations and Own the Podium with their analytical challenges.

Tasks will include gathering historical performance data using automated collection tools, providing analytical support to lead analysts, building models to allow Sport organizations to make better data-driven decisions around athlete development, the development of interactive tools and reporting, and communicating these results and insights directly to our Sport organizations.

Audience & Insights Analyst Student, Digital Media Delivery - 4 months (May 2023 to August Canadian Tire Corporation


The Audience & Insight Analyst Student on the Digital Media Delivery team will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and enhancement of audiences as well as supporting the insight team to bring excellent insights to the Digital Media team.


Tasks will include but are not limited to:
creating audiences in digital media platforms (Facebook, Google Ad Platforms), using in-house data create best-in-class 1st party audiences to improve digital advertising, working closely with the team to gather and retrieve data necessary for visualization and daily manual tasks to ensure data accuracy

Data/Automation Analyst Student, Data Governance and Merch Services - 4 months (May 2023 to August FGL Sports Ltd.


As part of the Data Governance and Merch Services team, they will be responsible for documenting the data requirements and policy for each data source with the development team, working with and reporting to the Data Governance Manager and data owners to determine the data structure, and perform user acceptance testing.

They will also be responsible for building SQL script that will be used to extract, cleanse, and analyze data for the business.

Data Analyst Student, BIDM - 4 months (May 2023 to August Canadian Tire Corporation


The Data Mart and Business Intelligence department focusses on simplifying access and use of data and analytics across the organization to maximize value and actionable insights extracted from our data.

To do this, the department is working to migrate the organization to a single, modern, cloud-based data platform and establish advanced self-serve data and analytics capabilities across the organization.

The Data Analyst student co-op role will help the _Data Mart _team with migrating data to Azure synapse and enabling self-serve data mart capabilities.

BI Analyst Student, BIDM - 4 months (May 2023 to August Canadian Tire Corporation
