As the Production Supervisor- you will supervise and lead the daily activities of the workforce using internal company goals and objectives as the benchmark: Safety, quality, cost, delivery, and efficiency.

Reporting directly to the Director of Manufacturing; If you're up to the challenge, the reward is satisfaction . . . and knowing you helped build something real.

Works directly with Director of Manufacturing on production planning, budgeting, and key performance indicators.
Oversees production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results.

Meets production requirements and delivery schedules by monitoring personnel, and resources, expediting work results, fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.

Supervises manufacturing team by communicating job expectations, appraising job results, coaching, counseling, disciplining employees, enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Maintains staff by assisting Human Resources with recruiting, selecting, orientation and training employees.

Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing regulatory and organizational standards and procedures, including educating and directing personnel on established policies and procedures.

Provides quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards.

Provides manufacturing information to company management team by compiling and analyzing production performance records and data, answering questions and responding to requests.

Will consider 8 years Manufacturing Supervision experience in lieu of education.
Knowledge of Assembly line AND Welding is an asset.
Experience in coaching, process improvement, quality management, safety management, tracking budget expenses, and production metrics.
Ability to read/interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and contract specifications.

Should have knowledge of Word Processing software, Spreadsheet software, Internet software; Order processing systems and Manufacturing software (ERP) and Microsoft Office.

Must be able to work flexible hours and OT
Supervisory experience in Shipping/Receiving is a plus.
