We are in need of an experienced and strategic Senior Social Media Manager to assist in overseeing our organic social media efforts, contributing to the development and execution of overall social media marketing strategies for both Knix and Kt by Knix. Reporting to the Social Media Director, you will collaborate on strategizing, planning, approving, and executing compelling, shareable content across various channels. The perfect candidate should be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously, thriving in a dynamic environment, and prioritizing the team's needs while fostering cross-functional collaboration.

You will be part of Knix's Communications, Partnerships & Social Team, reporting to the Social Media Director. This role entails leading team members, ensuring seamless planning and execution of multiple campaigns and projects across Knix and Kt by Knix. You must have the ability to view the bigger picture, optimize content calendars, create workback schedules, and devise social media go-to-market strategies alongside the team. Responsibilities will include supervising a team, as well as working on strategy, content creation, and briefs aligned with broader marketing initiatives to support new product launches, promotions, brand campaigns, and more. Collaboration with our internal Creative, PR, Acquisition, CX, and Partnerships teams is expected.

ABOUT YOU

  • You excel at planning, executing, and optimizing social media campaigns for product launches, promotions, and other marketing endeavors. Transforming brand briefs into strategic plans to achieve the Social Media Team's objectives is crucial in this role.
  • You will develop strategic plans, establish processes, secure approvals, manage feedback loops, and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
  • You must be capable of supervising the planning, creation, and execution of compelling, shareable content across diverse social media channels for both brands.
  • You should be comfortable approving and giving feedback on creative elements such as digital assets, videos, copy, and brand messaging. Additionally, you should be proficient in creating engaging content.
  • You are responsible for maintaining consistency with our brand voice across all channels and ensuring content compliance with legal standards.
  • You will monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to offer insights and recommendations for ongoing enhancements. Contribute to the conceptualization and implementation of social media campaigns on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook, Linkedin, etc.
  • Your background should include team and freelancer management, along with effective communication with external partners and collaborators. Operating with agility and autonomy, maintaining open communication, and collaborating daily with the Social Media Director and the broader cross-functional team.
  • Your strong time management skills enable you to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with numerous moving parts. As a project manager, you should balance overseeing the big picture while managing every detail of an initiative for successful outcomes.

THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Conceptualize, develop, execute, and monitor social media strategies, campaigns, and calendars that evoke meaningful storytelling, engagement, and growth for the Knix and Kt by Knix brands across all active social media channels.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Director and peers, including Ambassador, Influencer, Creative, and IMC Teams, to align our internal goals with new and established cutting-edge social media strategies.
  • Supervise not only the Social Media Calendar but also the Partnership, Ambassador, and Communications calendars to ensure departmental synergy.
  • Creativity plays a pivotal role, offering you the chance to actualize our grand ideas.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 6 years of experience in Social Media, Brand Marketing, Communications, etc., with 2-3 years in a leadership position overseeing a team.
  • Comprehensive understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Outstanding analytical skills and the capacity to leverage data for decision-making.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong copy editing skills are essential.
  • Creative mindset with strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Notion, Social Media Management Platforms (Later, Sprout Social), Adobe, Slack, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as Communications or Marketing. Strong time management and logistics expertise to proactively manage individuals accountable for deliverables required for launches.
  • Proven history in managing social media campaigns and crafting content strategies from inception to completion.
  • Ability to think critically, leverage subject matter expertise, and troubleshoot - maintaining focus on the brand voice and customer perspective.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and driven with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Aptitude for independent work and teamwork, including cross-functional and external partner collaboration.
  • Stakeholder management and adeptness in fostering internal and external relationships.
