  • Duties:
  • Supporting supervisors, foremen, and staff on safety matters.
  • Conducting safety training and meetings.
  • Inspecting drilling operations.
  • Maintaining corrective action logs.
  • Providing safety improvement feedback.
  • Ensuring compliance with emergency response plans.
  • Investigating incidents.
  • Promoting safety culture and initiatives.
  • Completing training & evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years' experience in health and safety management.
  • Knowledge of drilling techniques and equipment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Valid Class 5 License or equivalent.

Training Provided:

  • WSCC Mining Supervisor.
  • Leadership for Safety Excellence.
  • Construction Safety Officer.
  • Train the Trainer.
  • Incident Investigations.
  • Conflict resolution.

Reports to: Exploration Project Manager

Work Schedule: 21 days on, 21 days off, flexible rotation.

Salary: $35 - $40/hr based on experience
