Position Overview
  • We're in search of a skilled Art Director who has excelled in designing events and experiences for top-notch brands. In this role, you'll be involved in a variety of projects aimed at shaping the brand identity and positioning Autodesk as a leader in Design and Make.
  • You'll become part of the Autodesk Brand and Creative teams Design Studio, responsible for creating and delivering a wide range of assets from concept to completion. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our vision is seamlessly executed, drives significant business impact, and aligns with Autodesk's brand objectives.
  • This position calls for exceptional design and production abilities, as well as a strong desire and curiosity to expand your skill set. You'll work within a high-performing, collaborative team that upholds trusted design principles, playing a key role in shaping the future of the Autodesk Brand and producing engaging content that brings the Autodesk narrative to life.
  • You'll collaborate with creatives, project managers, and various external vendors to develop and curate a series of events and brand experiences that enhance and advance the Autodesk brand, positioning us as leaders in Design and Make.
Responsibilities
  • Support and establish visual design systems, guidelines, templates, and processes for brand events, activations, and Autodesk's visual identity.
  • Act as a brand advocate for Autodesk by offering brand guidance through consultations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create compelling presentations for both internal and external audiences.
  • Generate creative briefs and presentations to articulate design concepts, and oversee production by directing vendors.
  • Champion Autodesk as a leader in Design and Make.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in graphic and visual design.
  • Strong skills in layout, typography, color theory, and design, with proficiency in digital and print templates and files.
  • Ability to lead multiple event workstreams and timelines with various partners and vendors.
  • Expertise in spatial, information, wayfinding, and attendee journey design.
  • Understanding of design systems, meticulous attention to detail and consistency, with a focus on functional, well-crafted design.
  • Proficiency in expressing ideas through compelling mood boards and storyboards.
  • Lead the development of event identity systems and playbooks.
  • Familiarity with the technical and aesthetic aspects of photography and imagery creation.
  • Team player open to creative feedback, with the ability to effectively communicate opinions while pushing creative boundaries.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat.
  • Knowledgeable in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk tools, 3D skills, and AI workflows is a plus.
  • Readiness to learn new tools, skills, and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Awareness of the tech industry event landscape.
  • Passionate about design in all its forms and eager to translate that passion into brand-relevant experiences.
  • Curious, adaptable, adventurous, with a diverse range of creative interests.
