Overview:

The individual will be responsible for global intercompany as well as oversee global fixed assets. The individual should have advanced investigative skills, a strong ability to multi-task and be detail oriented

Responsibilities:

Intercompany – ensure all intercompany transactions are recorded and balanced every month Intercompany – work closely with the tax department to limit tax exposure due to intercompany balances Intercompany transaction analysis Fixed asset – review complex asset requests with junior staff Balance sheet reconciliations pertaining to intercompanies and fixed assets Audit support pertaining to intercompanies and support junior staff with fixed asset requests Review work completed by junior staff members Mentor junior staff members Streamline global procedures for consistent processes Coordinate with different departments (tax, legal, etc.) to ensure proper agreements are in place and compliance with transfer pricing

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree; or college diploma + relevant experience 5+ years of accounting experience Progressive experience in intercompany transaction management Experience with Global ERP system; SAP highly preferred Experience with multiple currencies Experience maintaining fixed asset subledgers Experience related to cash management Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

Additional Preferred Skills:

Blackline experience – preparing and approving account reconciliations Experience maintaining continuity schedules Previous experience as team lead or supervisor
