Job Summary:

The Merchandiser will optimize the presentation and promotion of cruise offerings on our website and sales channels. This role requires strategic thinking, attention to detail, understanding market trends, and collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to boost sales and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Presentation: Curate and maintain attractive and accurate cruise package presentations on our website.
  • Keep product descriptions, images, and pricing updated and engaging.
  • Develop merchandising strategies to enhance the online customer experience.
  • Supplier Relations: Negotiate exclusive deals, promotions, and group rates with suppliers.
  • Manage relationships with major cruise lines for the best customer offerings.
  • Sales Optimization: Analyze sales data and customer feedback to improve product offerings and promotions.
  • Collaborate on marketing campaigns to drive traffic and sales.
  • Monitor and report on merchandising strategy and promotion performance.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of available cruise packages.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to manage availability and resolve discrepancies.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences.
  • Use market insights to make informed merchandising decisions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of merchandising experience, preferably in travel or e-commerce.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in content management systems and e-commerce platforms.

Passion for travel and deep cruise industry understanding is a plus.
