Job Overview:

Reports to:
Executive Chef

Duties:

- works as a line cook as needed

Supervise kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking activities

  • Monitor food production
  • Train new employees on kitchen procedures and safety guidelines
  • Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with management to create menus and specials
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any kitchenrelated issue

Skills:

  • Leadership skills to effectively manage kitchen staff
  • Experience in hotel or restaurant management
  • Proficiency in food handling and preparation techniques
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations including cooking methods and equipment
  • Previous experience as a cook or in the food industry
  • Ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively

Pay:
$18.00 per hour
