The Opportunity:


The Bilingual Property Insurance Representative is responsible for keeping the property insurance records up to date for all residential customers, for monitoring insurance claims and maintaining First National's force placed insurance policy.

Demonstrate a keen understanding of First National's culture, services, as well as the mortgage industry in general to understand the unique needs for each position.


  • Update cancellations
  • Follow up on insurance policies
  • Answer customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Monitor insurance claims, while working with customers and insurance adjustors
  • Maintain force placed policy and report to insurance broker each month
  • Complete special projects as assigned by Management

The Requirements Needed:

  • Postsecondary education and/or equivalent work experience required
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written, in both French and English
  • Confident and assertive phone manner
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proven ability to accurately process high volumes of work
  • Proven organizational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Bilingual in French is an asset
