Job Description:

We are in search of a dynamic and skilled Swim Instructor and Lifeguard, endorsed with FirstAid-CPR. Our ideal candidate will possess experience in delivering the Lifesaving Society of Canada's course from Parent/tot, PreSchool, to Swimmer 1-6.

  • Candidates must hold a valid vulnerable persons criminal records check.

The role involves instructing young swimmers across various age groups in our backyard pool. Lessons are conducted with either 1 or 2 students per 30-minute slot.

Our clientele consists of welcoming Oakville families with children ranging from 8 months to 17 years old, who participate in private and semi-private sessions.

We operate as a licensed affiliate of the Lifesaving Society of Canada, adhering to all mandated guidelines. The pool is saltwater-based, heated to a comfortable 85 degrees, and situated near Neyagawa and Dundas in Oakville.

Working hours typically span weekdays from 3-7pm, commencing on July 2 until the end of August, with occasional shifts in June as well.

We seek at least two dependable, compassionate, and amiable instructors who have a passion for educating children. The position requires a commitment for the entire two-month period, fostering lasting relationships with clients.

Applicants must present a professional reference from a previous or current aquatic employment, along with another employment reference of their choice.
