Fx Supervisor

Under general supervision of the VFX Supervisor, the FX Supervisor reviews concept art, storyboards, and rough animation to plan, bid and execute the simulations and special effects needed for a project.
Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Degree/diploma in fine arts or animation or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years' production experience in film or television effects.
- Thorough knowledge of 3D effects and simulation techniques.
- Excellent knowledge of Houdini and Maya required.
- Compositing experience is a big plus.
- Experience programming Python is required.
- Project Management proven ability in managing projects from concept to completion. Able to prioritize appropriately and always meet deadlines.
- Excellent Teamwork ability to assemble and motivate teams and work effectively with others.
- Superb Written & Verbal Communication
- Ability to interact with and integrate requests of directors, broadcasters, executives, clients, and team members in a collaborative way.
- Vision ability to envision and communicate clear and consistent goals and needs for projects, individuals, and the FX team.
- Organization demonstrated organizational skills including a keen attention to detail.
- Strong problemsolving skills.
- Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
