We are currently recruiting a detail-orientated and passionate Talent Acquisition Specialist. This is a contract role that will be supporting our Retail and Field Sales teams across Canada.Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for managing full cycle recruitment and facilitation of the onboarding process for specialized roles at Lindt Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform the full-cycle recruiting process, including the preparation of postings, approval process, screening, scheduling and interviewing
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and the HR Manager, to identify recruitment needs across different client groups including Retail and Field Sales
  • Identify and recommend sourcing strategies to attract top talent at all levels within our store environment and other departments, e.g. job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, social media postings
  • Conduct interviews to assess candidates, and provide support to hiring managers with interviews to facilitate an exceptional candidate experience
  • Make hiring recommendations and provide feedback to both the candidate and hiring manager
  • Develop candidate pipelines by leveraging recruitment tools and resources
  • Assist in brainstorming, identifying, and implementing ongoing improvements to recruitment processes
  • Champion Lindt's referral program and internal recruitment initiatives
  • Manage the reference check and offer letter process
  • Partner with hiring managers and the Manager, Talent Acquisition & Employer Brand, on onboarding items to ensure completion
  • Ensure a successful onboarding experience for candidates and hiring managers
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures with respect to recruiting & onboarding practices; escalate any non-compliance to the Manager, Talent Acquisition & Employer Brand
  • Conduct Talent Acquisition analysis related to Time to Fill, New Hire Survey and ensure timely updates to related metrics (recruitment tracker and Applicant Tracking System)
  • Partner with Retail and Recruitment team on Seasonal Store Hiring as needed

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of in-house talent acquisition or recruitment agency experience as well as experience with applicant tracking systems
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or business-related degree is preferred
  • Previous experience in the Retail or Consumer Goods industry considered an asset
  • Bilingual in both English and French is considered a strong asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external candidates and stakeholders with a proven track record in providing a positive candidate experience
  • Customer-focused approach when dealing with the business; able to work with hiring managers across the organization and at different levels with tact and discretion
  • A strong sense of urgency with exceptional time-management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple roles and tasks simultaneously
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship skills with the ability to work effectively with team members and hiring managers
