We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Representative to join our client, a leading provider of high-temperature textiles and refractory products.

This company offers innovative solutions that replace asbestos in the industry.

With a strong focus on the aluminum sector, they specialize in providing high-quality, safe, and efficient materials to improve smelting operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the aluminum industry, with specific experience in smelting and pot rooms.

This role requires a proven track record in solution selling and the ability to establish and maintain relationships with key clients, particularly smelters.


Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to promote and sell high-temperature textiles and refractories to the aluminum industry.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the smelting sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at smelters.
Provide expert consultation on the benefits and applications of the company's products as replacements for asbestos.
Deliver tailored solutions to meet client needs, focusing on improving safety and efficiency in their operations.
Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales within the aluminum industry, particularly with a focus on smelting and pot rooms.

Experience selling to the following is highly desired:

Alouette Aluminum Smelter (Aluminerie Alouette), Alma Smelter (Rio Tinto), Arvida Smelter (Rio Tinto), Bécancour Smelter (ABI - Aluminerie de Bécancour Inc.), Deschambault Smelter (Rio Tinto), Grande-Baie Smelter (Rio Tinto), Alcoa's Baie-Comeau SmelterDemonstrated success in solution selling, with the ability to understand and address client needs effectively.

Strong knowledge of high-temperature textiles and refractories.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a results-oriented mindset.
Willingness to travel within the territory to meet with clients and attend industry events.
