**The Opportunity**

We are looking for an accomplished Accounting Technicianto join ourteam as part of our financial services business in Montreal.

As part of our Montreal team you will:

- Manage and monitor reconciliations between our accounting systems to external parties' statements
- Sorting, organizing, and reconciling these high volume transactions and upholding accounting policies and internal process in a timely manner.
- Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting, provide oversight of financial cycles such as cash receipts, accounts payable (including liaising with external vendors), billings and accruals
- As a member of the Finance team, they will be expected to provide operations support on an ad hoc basis

- Other key competencies for the role include strong computer skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines;
- The position requires the ability to deal with all levels of staff including those in foreign offices and external service providers.

En tant que membre de notre équipe de Montréal, vous devrez:

- Assurer la gestion et le suivi des rapprochements entre nos systèmes de comptabilité et les états financiers des parties externes.
- Trier, classer et rapprocher ces transactions à volume élevé et appliquer les politiques comptables et les processus internes en temps voulu.
- Contribuer à la budgétisation et aux prévisions annuelles, surveiller les cycles financiers tels que les encaissements, les comptes fournisseurs (et assurer la liaison avec les fournisseurs externes), les facturations et les charges à payer.
- En tant que membre de l'équipe financière, il/elle sera amené(e) à fournir un soutien opérationnel en fonction des besoins.
