We are offering a position for a Shop Helper.

We are open to apprenticeship opportunities if you are a good fit and put the effort to move forward in the trades.

Things you can expect to see in the shop:

  • Welding, mainly stick and mig.
  • Mechanical teardowns. This is the disassembling of hydraulic cylinders to inspect what repairs are needed.
  • General Machining. This includes threading, turning & boring of new cylinder rods, barrels, glands & pistons.

Qualities that may make you a good fit:

  • Attention to detail (We love learning as you work).
  • Ability to discuss any difficulties you have learning so we can adjust training to suit your needs.
  • Clean & organized work areas.
  • Pride in your work.
  • Mechanical knowledge.

Job Tasks:

  • Cleaning the job site
  • Loading & unloading cylinders
  • Cleaning cylinders
  • Working with varsol, xylene & typical household cleaners.
