JOB SUMMARY


As a Junior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for interpreting data and turning it into information that can be leveraged to improve our business and affect our business decisions.

You will work with SMEs across various Line of Business to analyze data, fix data issues, develop insights, and help in deploying data enhancements.


HERE'S HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Experienced and comfortable working with large datasets to problem solve, troubleshoot and implement data changes
  • Profile and evaluate data to determine data quality gaps per identified criteria. Utilize Excel and other tools/programs to profile, analyze, and convert data to a standardized format e.g.
  • Sorting/filtering data sets
  • Summarizing data
  • Merging data sets together
  • Consolidation of data across multiple areas
  • Consult with Lines of Business and relevant Business Contacts to report the results of the data analysis and comparison
  • Provide operational and processrelated analysis and support.
  • Manage information to support Business decision making

  • High School Diploma or Undergraduate Degree
  • 2 years relevant experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Data Analysis techniques
  • Analytical thought process
  • Ability to recognize patterns through data interpretation
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently
  • Programming expertise would be an asset
  • Experience in working with Salesforce data and reporting is an asset
  • Knowledge of FCT Business processes is an asset
