Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job:
The Manager of Strategic Operations reports to the Vice-President & General Manager (VP & GM) of bioMérieux Canada.

That role aims at coordinating the corporate strategic planning & to ensure alignment across the different departments that are driving initiatives related to Canadian growth strategy.


Main Accountabilities:

Responsible for the
corporate strategic & business plan coordination, alignment and monitoring.

  • Participate in the development of longterm goals to ensure successful implementation of the Canadian business strategy.
  • Work closely with VP & GM, Leadership team to drive the Organization's most significant strategies impacting bioMérieux Canada growth.
Project Management & digital transformation.

  • Monitor large, crossfunctional organizationwide projects and initiatives to support the transformation.
  • Create systems and processes to streamline information and projects, as needed.
Prepare and lead local business reviews

  • Coordinate with the relevant stakeholders for meeting preparation and document preparation.
  • Develop the action goals, measure progress and provide updates to stakeholders.
Support preparation for Clinical Operations Leadership team strategic meetings and events.

  • Act as a facilitator for smooth coordination within the Leadership Team of Clinical Operations
  • Prepare meeting and follow up the execution of decisions made and action plans established by the Clinical Operations Leadership Team
Additional responsibilities as periodically assigned

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree Business or Marketing, MBA preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in health care is a strength.
  • Experience in business strategy, finance and analytics leading projects.
- +5-7 years' experience in strategic planning, strategic development, business planning, digital transformation.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with project management experience.
  • Passionate about work with the can do attitude and results driven.
  • Customer centric, growth mindset and comfort in providing open, honest feedback
  • Business travel required (about 1015%)
