**Logistics Agent**

Reporting to the Logistics Manager and working in a dynamic growing organization, you will be the one to coordinate various tasks and processes to achieve the effective receiving and distribution of goods. The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.

**Responsibilities**
- Communicate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders to meet demands and expectations
- Obtain quotes from carrier vendors and negotiate transport rates
- Coordinate logistics of all orders from contacting the carrier and follow through until product delivery
- Conduct necessary research with carriers in order to respond adequately to customers' and purchasing team's requests and, if necessary, seeks assistance from the Manager
- Select carriers according to company's needs and specified criteria
- Coordinate pick-ups and deliveries according to required timeline and costing
- Manage daily priorities related to the logistics of cargo, and ensures all documents (packing list, BOL, commercial invoice) are provided with precision and submitted to necessary parties
- Track and monitor cargos keeping stakeholders informed in real-time on the status of their shipment
- Develop and foster good relationships with carrier vendors
- Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures and update SOPs
- Prepare accurate reports for management
- Perform additional tasks, as needed

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in logistics, supply chain management or relevant field
- Proven experience of 2 years in logistics
- Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of Excel, software (ERP) and systems
- Proficiency in English and French (working knowledge, asset)
- Knowledge of laws, regulations and requirements in addition to supply management principles and practices an asset
- Ability to adapt quickly, work with little supervision and track multiple conflicting priorities
- Organizational and record-keeping abilities
- Effective communication and negotiation skills

Relevant du gérant de la Logistique et travaillant dans une organisation dynamique en pleine croissance, vous serez celle/celui qui coordonnera diverses tâches et processus pour parvenir à la réception et à la distribution efficaces des marchandises. L'objectif est d'assurer le bon fonctionnement d'une variété de canaux visant une efficacité maximale.

**Responsabilités**
- Communiquer efficacement avec divers intervenants internes et externes pour répondre aux besoins et attentes
- Obtenir des devis auprès des fournisseurs de transporteurs et négocier les tarifs de transport
- Coordonner la logistique de toutes les commandes depuis la prise de contact avec le transporteur et le suivre jusqu'à la livraison du produit
- Mener les recherches nécessaires auprès des transporteurs afin de répondre adéquatement aux demandes des clients et de l'équipe des achats et, si nécessaire, demander l'aide du Manager
- Sélectionnez les transporteurs en fonction des besoins de l'entreprise et des critères spécifiés
- Coordonner les livraisons selon le calendrier et les coûts requis
- Gérer les priorités quotidiennes liées à la logistique et s'assurer que tous les documents (bon de livraison, BOL, facture) sont fournis avec précision et soumis aux personnes désignées
- Suivre et surveiller les cargaisons en tenant les parties prenantes informées en temps réel de l'état de leur expédition
- Développer et favoriser de bonnes relations avec les fournisseurs de transporteurs
- Utiliser l'informatique logistique pour optimiser les procédures et mettre à jour les SOP
- Préparer des rapports précis pour la gestion
- Effectuer des tâches supplémentaires, au besoin

**Profil**
- Diplôme en logistique, en gestion de la chaîne d'approvisionnement ou dans un domaine pertinent
- Expérience pertinente de 2 ans en logistique
- Connaissances informatiques avec une expérience pratique d'Excel, des logiciels (ERP) et des systèmes
- Maîtrise de l'anglais et du français (niveau fonctionnel, atout)
- Connaissance des lois, règlements et exigences en plus des principes et pratiques de la chaîne d'approvisionnement un atout
- Capacité à s'adapter rapidement, à travailler avec peu de supervision et à suivre plusieurs priorités conflictuelles
- Capacités organisationnelles et de documentation
- Habiletés pour la communication et la négociation
