Responsibilities:

  • Assist with frame selection and fitting for eyeglasses
  • Educate patients on proper contact lens care and insertion/removal techniques
  • Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries
  • Assist optometrist with patient examinations and procedures
  • Perform preliminary tests and measurements, such as visual acuity, color vision, and depth perception
  • Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient use
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
  • Basic knowledge of optometry terminology and procedures is a plus
  • Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and record keeping

Pay:
From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
