Casual shift work: 8 and 12-hour shifts, 24/7

Rate of Pay:
$15.50 $19.00 per hour

Commissionaires NBPEI Division is looking to hire mature and responsible team members on a casual basis in the Saint John area to work in a variety of facilities.


The Role:


The Security Officer is responsible to enforce established rules and regulations to ensure the protection of people, property, and information on a variety of worksites.

Assigned duties include a combination of static and roving patrols.

  • Physical fitness to perform interior and exterior rounds (including stairs) in all types of environmental conditions may also require standing for extended periods of time
  • Strong communication and dispute resolution skills
  • A positive, proactive, problemsolving approach to tasks
  • Customer service experience
  • Demonstrate sound judgement in addressing conflict situations
  • Respond quickly and appropriately to shifting circumstances
  • Maintain high levels of confidentiality
