In keeping with the company's mission and values, the SMT Support Operator implements, assists, and maintains various SMT process related steps related to LUCID's hardware manufacturing processes.

The SMT Support Operator takes ownership of supporting the production of populated circuit boards. All with a focus on excellent output quality and scalability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serializing, program loading, & depanelization of various PCBAs produced by SMT
  • AOI/SPI results review, including creation & update of Support tickets.
  • Assist SMT Line feeder setups and tear downs for production.
  • Prepare PCBs for upcoming SMT Production
  • Component verification and receipt into component tracking software
  • Help develop and implement SMT production process steps, regularly providing feedback or recommendations to continually optimize existing processes
  • Participate in the operation of various SMT production lines, both directly and indirectly with a focus on quality and repeatability
  • Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot issues, escalating complex issues with Management as needed
  • Perform and help implement maintenance procedures for various SMT equipment to ensure proper upkeep while minimizing downtime
  • Follow & maintain postSMT process for transferring populated boards into stock, ensuring accurate representation in inventory counts
  • Other related duties, as required

Qualification:

  • Minimum 1 year experience operating in an electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Very attentive and detailoriented mindset.
  • Excellent communicator, willing to work with other teams.
  • Experience with optical inspection equipment (SPI/AOI) is preferred.
