We have an exciting opportunity for a Functional Analyst to join the Data & Analytics - Financial Applications and Analytics team This role focuses on system configuration design and maintenance for our Accounts Receivable system.

Patient billing in health care is uniquely complex and this role would suit an organized and precise individual with experience in Accounts Receivable or accounting, skills in Excel and SQL, and an eagerness to learn.

Experience with CST Cerner project would be an asset. Maintain the Infor HRCM system and configurations.

Work closely with both users and IT professionals to troubleshoot system problems, test system solutions, establish clear lines of communication and ensure clear visibility to critical functional issues.

Develop reports using Structured Query Language (SQL) and perform data analysis.
Work with stakeholders in a large matrix organizational structure to streamline and standardize processes, implement best practices, and ensure risk mitigation controls
Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline supplemented by related Information Systems courses.

A minimum of five (5) years' recent related experience within a large organization with an emphasis on business systems and reporting an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Extensive experience with complex Business systems, project planning and control are essential.
Experience on PeopleSoft ERP as well as accounting or business knowledge would be an asset.
Excel knowledge as well as SSRS and Power BI experiences are assets.

Expertly applies knowledge of business system modules relating to the designated business area (Employee Engagement/HR, Scheduling & Timekeeping, Finance, Supply Chain, Payroll, Accounts Payable and Revenue Services, etc.) Applies solid technical and troubleshooting abilities in the provision of Business Systems & Integrations support.

As per the current Public Health Orders, as of October 5, 2023, all employees working for Vancouver Coastal Health must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have received a single dose of the most-recent, updated COVID-19 vaccine.

Proof of vaccination status will be required.
