Tool Shop Coordinator


We are looking for a Tool Shop Coordinator that should have a minimum of 2 years of work experience with a skilled trades contractor (e.g., millwright, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction) and understand the tools, commodities and equipment that is used.

This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, enjoys working with others and may be looking to "get off the tools".


Bullet Trade Services provide millwright services to customers across a wide range of industries (Automotive, Food, Concrete, Automation Building Supplies, Chemical, Packaging, etc) in the Southern Ontario region.


Your future role:

  • Coordination of all shop operations (e.g., fabrication, inventory control, inspections, receiving, shipping,)
  • Supervise and train the employees (23) working in the shop
  • Daily organization of tools, stock, materials, and consumables
  • Order supplies, tools and rent equipment from vendors
  • Supervise inventory processes and ensuring commodities are in stock
  • Ensure delivery of parts and supplies from vendors and to customers are completed accurately
  • Participate in planning meetings with project managers
  • Vendor management ensure vendors are providing a fair price and a high level of service
  • Ensure that vehicle fleet, welding equipment, lifting devices are maintained, inspected daily/weekly and annually certified
  • Reporting any maintenance issues
  • Project management/job tracking
  • Opportunities to take on more responsibilities over time
  • Hours of work: 730am5pm
  • Monday to Friday

What You Need to Succeed:

  • You are collegial and team oriented and enjoy talking to employees and vendors
  • You have familiarity with millwrighting and other skilled trades
  • You have a "get it done" attitude and are willing to provide solutions to bespoke problems
  • You like order and getting a job done properly
  • You are able to effectively supervise the employees that work in the shop and able to correct adverse issues
  • You have familiarity with MS Excel, Outlook and Apple IOS
  • You are able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions, as Bullet Trade Services works in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • You have a G license and a clean driving record
  • You consistently work safely and understand what a safe work environment looks like
