Make an impact with our Resource Management team as a Scheduler. This diverse team of professionals understands internal service needs and anticipates resource constraints before they become a challenge.

As a trusted advisor, you'll support the effective placement of team members so that our firm can maximize efficiencies and has the capacity needed when delivering services and results.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with leadership on resource planning and deployment
  • Analyze and recommend staffing decisions based on engagement risk, skills, timing, continuity and geographic considerations
  • Manage staffing conflicts with all relevant parties, providing alternative staffing recommendations and escalating issues, as appropriate
  • Maximize utilization by identifying imbalances and negotiating and reallocating resources
  • Participate in the orientation of new hires by providing an overview of the staffing process and operating model
  • Liaise with clientserving professionals to determine development needs and identify engagement and learning opportunities, as appropriate
  • Actively support performance management initiatives and learning and development planning
  • Track CPA hours and competencies
  • Assist with reporting including utilization performance, forecasts and capacity management
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, project management, human resources or other related field; equivalent work experience will also be considered
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Professional services and/or consulting firm experience is considered an asset
