JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Load and unload tents and other equipment
  • Setup and tear down tents and other equipment in a quick and efficient manner
  • Ensure all tents and equipment rented out is collected from site
  • Report any missing equipment to management
  • Complete preoperational and postoperational inspections of tents and equipment to ensure safety and operational performance
  • Carry out routine cleanups, and repairs and maintenance of all tents and equipment
  • Manage tent department inventory efficiently
  • Ensure warehouse is always neat and tidy and storage is efficient to enable quick access
  • Supervise quality maintenance, cleanliness and security on site
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures
  • Carry out all other tasks assigned by the head of department
  • Remain on call for emergencies
  • Drive company vehicles to and from job sites

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENT

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of workplace safety
  • A valid BC driver's licence
  • Ability to drive in a safe and responsible manner
  • Ability to work long and flexible hours
  • Ability to work well in a team and take directions
  • Ability to carry out minor repairs; i.e. be mechanically inclined
  • All employees will be provided with training onsite and must work well with others as well as independently.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

Salary:
$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
