Project Manager

- Our Client is looking for Project Manager to support the project which is transforming the provincial healthcare system to improve patient care and support strategic healthcare system alignment by leading the coordinated planning and integration of patient-centred clinical and preventive health services and delivering centralized business functions to support the delivery of care across provincial health organizations.
- The largest change to the provincial health-care system in a generation requires proven, province-wide leadership with broad jurisdictional experience across multiple areas of clinical delivery and business functions to build an integrated leadership team and effective pan-system relationships that drive strategic and sustainable outcomes, enable the work of partner service delivery organizations, provide centralized business functions and provincial health services.
- Shared Health operates a jurisdictional tertiary hospital and provides a broad group of health delivery services spanning all areas of care including primary, acute and continuous across the province in urban, rural and remote areas.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Project management certification. Proof of certification is requested with the response.
- Prosci organizational change management certification. Proof of the certification is requested with the response.
- SCRUM Project Management Certification. Proof of the certification is requested with the response.
- 5 years' utilizing a structured methodology such as Prosci to deliver organizational change management strategies and plans. The response should include at least 2 examples, including the duration of the project or work, totaling at least 5 years, and specifying the methodology applied.
- 10 years' experience as a Project Manager including budget creation and cost tracking, assignment of resources and managing interdependencies in delivering a combination of technology, business and process change, in a complex sector such as healthcare, financial services or other public sectors. The response should include at least 2 examples, including duration of the project or work that totals at least 10 years.
- 5 years' experience implementing large transformational projects including organizational and service redesign projects. The response should include at least 2 examples including duration of the project or work that totals at least 5 years. Please specify the organizational or service redesign component.
- 3 years' experience as a Project Manager working on projects in a government environment. The response should include at least 1 example including duration of the project or work that totals at least 3 years.
- 5 years' experience providing program or project leadership of large business transformation activities, including planning and program/project management, working with executive leaders, oversight of project managers/team leaders, organizational change management, risk management, and reporting to executive sponsors. The response should include at least 2 examples including duration of the project or work that total at least 5 years.
- 5 years' experience as a Project Manager working on projects in the healthcare environment. Healthcare is defined as Acute Care, Primary Care, or Long Term Care. The response should include at least 1 example including duration of the project or work that totals at least 5 years.
- 3 years' experience as Project Manager working on projects in the healthcare environment specifically where projects were implementing clinical change. Clinical change is defined as process or technology changes to systems and work performed by direct front line patient staff such as physicians or nurses. The response should include at least 1 example including duration of the project or work that totals at least 3 years.
