The Application Delivery Analyst HRIS - Workday provides people-focused process and Workday HCM functional and technical support through the delivery of new functionality, enhancements and ongoing system and process improvements.

This role will be accountable for partnering with the business to understand requirements and process, the translation of those requirements into a solution, the development and testing of that solution, and the transition of that solution into production.

As part of our HR Information Systems team, you will play an integral part in making HR experiences better for our global workforce.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure and support business process and enhancements within existing Workday modules for a global workforce
  • Understand business needs and provide consultative support to HR business team on business process design, Workday configuration, and best practices
  • May design, configure and test technical integration solutions to support business objectives across HR functions such as payroll, benefits, compensation, and talent.
  • Manage inbound and outbound integrations in Workday, monitor error logs, troubleshoot, and drive issue resolution with a focus on identification of trends, root cause behaviors and longterm solutions
  • Independently manage and deliver assigned work from start to finish, including collection of requirements and estimation of work effort, according to agreed upon timelines
  • Lead testing activities including unit and end to end testing and documentation; facilitate and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Workday functional, technical and data issues
  • Prepare configuration and root cause analysis documentation
  • Work with outside vendors, as needed, to coordinate requirements and delivery of integrated solutions
  • Conduct ongoing audit and quality assurance to ensure data integrity and compliance with company and Workday standards
  • Assess current system and make recommendations to include training, customization, and enhancements to maximize automation and simplification
  • Keep abreast of the latest Workday functionality and best practices proactively bringing solutions to the business and to your HRIS team to continuously improve processes and our Workday ecosystem
  • Provide support for end user training, train HR end users via various methods including inperson, webinar and documentation
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or closely related field
  • Experience administering and/or supporting software solutions in a business environment
  • Knowledge of solution design, requirement analysis and technical documentation including data integration diagrams and use cases
  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple work items and priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Effective and proactive communicator with both peers and business partners
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team
  • Experience working with vendors and system integrators
  • Ability to learn new technologies as required
Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years handson Workday experience in one or more of the following: Core HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Time and Attendance, Benefits, Learning, Recruiting
  • Similar experience in the military will also be considered
  • Demonstrated experience with Workday Integrations (Cloud Connect, Studio, Connectors, Document Transformation, Web Services, API, XML, XSLT)
  • Knowledge of HR processes including, but not limited to:
  • Payroll end to end processing including pay components setup, earnings, deductions, pay calculations, pay processing, taxes, retro calculations, payroll reporting etc.
  • Experience with open enrollment, employee life cycle events, setting up benefit plans, health and welfare benefits and compliance, retirement plans, pension plans, HSA, FSA
  • Experience with setting up Compensation plan, Compensation cycle shared participation and grid setup and supporting of the Annual Compensation cycle
  • Performance review cycle setup and support
