Our team is searching for a People & Culture Analyst to join our People & Culture team in Halifax, NS.

As the People & Culture (P&C) Analyst, you will play an integral role within Eastlink's highly collaborative Human Resources team.

You will be responsible for P&C reporting and analytics, overseeing our total compensation framework and supporting reporting requirements for both our Pay Equity and Employment Equity programs, and will also participate in special projects as required.

Your analysis and insights will help to shape P&C strategy and drive continuous improvement in HR practices.

In this role, you will have the ability to work in a flexible environment, with a combination of time spent in the office, minimum 3 days per week and in at home capacity the remainder of the time.

You are someone who has a strong technical aptitude and can help to streamline P&C processes by suggesting relevant insights and analyzing data about key P&C processes.

Innovative by nature, you have a track record of taking the initiative to uncover ways to continually improve processes and procedures.

You are highly attentive to detail, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and very fast-paced environment.

What You Can Expect

  • Compile P&C data and metrics from the human resource information system (HRIS);
  • Oversee our compensation process to ensure the operation of a comprehensive, inclusive, and equitable compensation and classification framework for employees;
  • Responsible for cycle compensation practices, such as job evaluation, performing competitive market analyses and providing recommendations to various stakeholders relating to the compensation and classification framework;
  • Create, generate, analyze and maintain effective P&C reporting for key metrics dashboards, audits and compliance to drive organizational effectiveness;
  • Prepare reports of data results and present findings to senior leadership;
  • Collaborate with the P&C Coordinator on reporting and auditing requirements within our Human Resource Information System;
  • Partner with P&C team members and other departments to provide daytoday advice, guidance, analysis and insights.
What You Will Bring

  • Postsecondary education in a relevant field is required, specific HR education and/or experience is an asset but not required;
  • 25 years of HR analytics or generalist experience, with demonstrated experience completing reporting and analysis;
  • A high degree of proficiency with MS Office, with intermediate to advanced knowledge in Excel
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Experience in compensation analytics or similar role;
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends and make recommendations to drive continuous improvement in HR practices;
