Account Manager (Alberta Oil Sands) Position AvailableHeavy Metal is currently accepting resumes for an Account Manager for our Rental Division to provide services in the Alberta Oil Sands (Fort McMurray/Wood Buffalo Region).

The Account Manager in this role will typically work Monday through Friday. While travel may be required on occasion, this position is based out of the Wood Buffalo Region. The manager will be expected to work a minimum of 8 hours per day.
Additional travel may be required from time to time to other sites/locations within the organization.

While off site, it may be necessary to take calls and/or respond to client needs that cannot wait until your return to site.

The ideal Manager will create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers as well as develop new business from existing clients, aspiring to profitably manage and sustainably grow the business with selected clients.

This is an extremely demanding environment that requires exceptional time management and prioritization skills. One must be resourceful and solution-focused to address the challenges that come with the remoteness of the worksite.

with superior safety, client and team focus who is responsible for business development and onsite managementwho is a strong self-starter who is also an enthusiastic team player to add to our teamwith a good understanding of mine sites and their operations, solutions for rental equipment, the ability to analyze fleet performance and be savvy in Microsoft Excelwho will be motivated, committed and wants to grow with usAs an Account Manager YOU will:Be the primary lead on site safety requirementsProject fleet usageForecast additional business opportunitiesReview and ensure compliance with clients and contractsManage onsite Purchase OrdersReview Accounts ReceivablesEnsure client/customer satisfactionLiaise with Maintenance Services

What we need from

YOU:
Qualification in Business Management or Business AdministrationMinimum 3 years' experience preferably in mining, resources, or mobile equipment sector with strong technical backgroundProven track record of managing customer expectations along with expectations of the companyProven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customersSafety oriented personalityStrong ethics and compliance to rules and regulationsHigh level communication skills, both oral and writtenInnovative and commercially savvy outlookExtremely strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization as well as with internal and external stakeholdersSound working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of productsComply with federal, provincial and Heavy Metal/client site requirements regarding COVID-19Our Commitment to
