This is a 4 month positionFall 2024: September 9, December 20, 2024WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
The AMD Display Solutions Team is seeking a co-op student to help in testing SW features for the latest and greatest graphics cards and to improve the quality of our display driver. This role offers the opportunity to show off your knowledge and skills in graphics and displays.
In this position, you will be working as a member of a high-performing agile team, which will have you working with everyone from fellow students to SW architects. Your responsabilities are:
Define/develop/Execute weekly regression test plans and track the results to ensure product quality and to avoid regressionsReproduction, trouble shooting, and triaging of SW defectsPrioritize and efficiently manage a number of concurrent projects and testing tasksDesign, create, manage and maintain developer test plan, test automation and test coverageTest Case/Plan development for new SW features, new products (dGPU and APU) and new OS (Linux and Windows)KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Interested in SW QA process and methodologyInterested in PC Platform ArchitectureStrong knowledge of or interest in PC Graphics (Computer displays, HDTV)Hands-on experience with assembling PCs (components, set-up, configuration)Communication skills: good oral, written and presentation skillsWHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
A student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
