Aon Is Looking For A Property Broker - Central Region Broking
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our local office.

Your Impact As A Broker

Working on middle market to large global structured property programs, you will:

  • Analyze client specific risk exposure and details coverage requirements. Prepare and present marketing proposals for renewals and new business.
  • Negotiate with underwriters to establish best terms and conditions with respect to premiums and coverage.
  • Continuously work to develop expertise in the property segment through networking, technical training and client discussions.
  • Follow up with insurer to confirm terms of negotiated contract are met.
  • Approve documentation for new contracts, policy changes, additions, deletions and renewals.
  • Establish contacts and cultivate relationships within the underwriting community in an effort to achieve the best rates and coverage for Aon clients.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to develop coverage strategy and marketing initiatives for renewal and prospective business.
  • Operate as part of the Central Region Broking Centre working closely with Account Teams in serving our clients.
  • Review and approve applicable insurance documentation prepared by the Associate Broker.
  • Provide guidance, training and mentoring to assist in the development of Associate Brokers and/or Brokers within the department.
  • Perform other related duties as required

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

Required Experience:

  • 5 years or more experience in a Commercial Insurance role, preference to those experienced in Property
  • RIBO license required

Education:

  • College or University degree
  • CRM, CIP,or CAIB insurance designations preferred.
