Cost & Schedule Analyst located in

  • Reporting to the Section Manager, this position is responsible for providing support to the Section Manager through information accumulation, analysis and problemsolving for project controls work. This includes project schedule and cost management. This position is within OPG's Enterprise Project Organization and is an incredible opportunity to gain exposure to projects across different lines of business including Renewable Generation, Nuclear Refurbishment, IT Projects, New Nuclear and more

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Support the administration of highly utilized Project Management Information Systems, including EcoSys and Primavera P
  • Analyze specified areas of cost and schedule performance.
  • Lead Key Initiatives to provide continuous improvement to EPO Project Management knowledge areas within process, tools, and systems.
  • Establish cost and schedule baselines and project monitoring and controlling, including Earned Value Management analysis, integrated Change control and Forecasting.
  • As assigned, develop Divisionspecific procedures, instructions, guidelines that facilitate the twoway flow of cost and schedule information.
  • Provide input and direction to the Section Manager, with respect to the preparation and execution of deliverables.

EDUCATION

  • 4year university degree, Engineering, Science or Business
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) or Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) certification is considered an asset.

QUALIFICATIONS
years of experience collaborating within a work group and performing all aspects of project monitoring and controlling.

  • Experience with EcoSys as a cost management solution.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary and multiphase long term projects/programs.
  • Knowledge and solid understanding of the interrelationships and role of organizational units, interrelationships between work groups, external contractors and consultants involved, and the mechanics of resolving any controversial issues.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate well, both verbally and written, is essential.
  • Ability to present information clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a flexible hybrid office environment.
