Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with approximately 10 years of experience in pump station engineering/design related to oil pipelines.
This contract role is focused on the engineering and design of pump and measurement equipment, including a 150,000-barrel storage tank at the Terminal and an additional pump station connected to the existing system.
Responsibilities:
Perform full lifecycle product development of pump station components, ensuring alignment with project needs and requirements.
Engage in engineering and design activities, including the generation of modifications and change orders (MOCs).
Coordinate contractors and vendors for commissioning of equipment and manage project scope development through to installation and final commissioning.
Provide expertise in equipment maintenance, developing solutions for operational improvements and safety enhancements.
Prepare and manage documentation, including engineering reports, project scopes, and maintenance verification documents.
Collaborate with various teams to identify, formulate, and implement effective solutions to emerging problems, ensuring overall performance, reliability, and safety of the final product.
Education:
Mechanical Engineering Degree
P.Eng is required.
