We are recruiting for a Temporary Full-Time
Office Administrator, based in Edmonton. This position will start as a 12-Month Temporary contract, with the possibility of extension.

Reporting to the Manager, Facilities and Office Services, this front line role will provide a variety of services to other Spartan Business Units on behalf of the Facilities and Office Services team.

Your positive 'can-do' work ethic, combined with strong communication and relationship building skills, will allow you to work effectively with your internal and external customers.


Role and Responsibilities

  • Provide effective office services support to all Spartan business units within the facility
  • Support and backup main switchboard operation which includes answering, screening and forwarding calls in a professional, timely and accurate manner
  • Greet all incoming customers and guests in a professional manner, ensuring they have an appropriate contact and are signed in and out of the building
  • Administer the access control system
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries
  • Coordinate and assist with setup and cleanup for catered meetings, training, and other company events
  • Assist with maintenance, monitoring and ordering of stationery and officerelated supplies
  • Provide backup for all Office Services positions, as required
  • Filing, scanning, data entry and other office related duties

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum academic credentials: High School Diploma
  • Exceptional customer service practices
  • Previous reception experience an asset

  • Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Good prioritizing, multitasking and decision making skills
