Reporting to the CFO, and located 100% on site at 4350 Highway Chomedey, Laval, Québec, this position will lead the corporate tax function for all Savaria Group companies (Canadian and international), responsible for tax planning, risk management and compliance, and working in close partnership with corporate functions, including finance, legal affairs, mergers and acquisitions. Responsible for all corporate tax matters for Savaria Group (50 legal entities present in 14 countries), including disclosure, compliance and tax optimization
Develop and coordinate the establishment of tax planning, in terms of acquisitions, cross-border financing and repatriation of profits from foreign subsidiaries
Supervise and participate in the tax compliance of companies, particularly Canadian and American (including tax instalments)
Supervise the tax deliverables of international subsidiaries in collaboration with local controllers and external tax advisors
Prepare/revise the consolidated tax provision and disclosure to the audited financial statements, including using data taken from the One Stream consolidation software
Key resource regarding corporate income taxes and, to a lesser extent, sales and indirect taxes and other tax matters
Monitor legislative tax developments in taxation and assess their impact on Savaria's international operations
Manage tax audits, particularly Canadian and American, related to corporate income taxes

Minimum 10 years' experience in taxation, ideally in an international company reporting under IFRS
Proven knowledge of Canadian and international tax matters
Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills allowing management of multiple projects simultaneously
Analytic and strategic planning skills to enable decision making in a tax risk management context
Excellent communicator able to disseminate complex tax findings in a manner accessible to all
Experience in tax accounting for financial statements
Specific experience in transfer pricing (an asset)
Language: Fluency in French and English, written and spoken, required

Relevant du CFO et situé à temps plein au 4350 autoroute Chomedey, Laval, Québec, le titulaire du poste dirigera la fonction fiscale corporative pour toutes les sociétés du Groupe Savaria (canadiennes et internationales). Il sera responsable de la planification fiscale, de la gestion des risques et de la conformité, et travaillera en partenariat étroit avec les fonctions de l'entreprise, notamment la finance, les affaires juridiques, les fusions et acquisitions. Superviser les livrables fiscaux des filiales internationales en collaboration avec les contrôleurs locaux et les conseillers fiscaux externes
Préparer/réviser la provision fiscale consolidée et sa divulgation aux états financiers audités, notamment en utilisant les données du logiciel de consolidation One Stream.
Ressource clé concernant l'impôt sur le revenu des sociétés et, dans une moindre mesure, les taxes de vente et indirectes et les autres questions fiscales.
Surveiller les développements législatifs en matière de fiscalité et évaluer leur impact sur les opérations internationales de Savaria.
Gérer les vérifications fiscales, notamment canadiennes et américaines, liées à l'impôt sur le revenu des sociétés
Vivre les valeurs de l'entreprise : sécurité, qualité, passion, collaboration, expertise.
Titre de CPA avec maîtrise en fiscalité ou programme fondamental d'impôt de CPA Canada
Connaissance avérée des questions fiscales canadiennes et internationales
Souci du détail et excellentes compétences organisationnelles permettant la gestion de plusieurs projets simultanément
Compétences analytiques et de planification stratégique pour permettre la prise de décision dans un contexte de gestion des risques fiscaux
Expérience en comptabilisation des impôts aux états financiers
Langue : Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais, écrit et oral, requise
