VAC Developments is a growing Canadian Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing Company located in Oakville. We are seeking a Toolroom Machinist to join our Team

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains/grind cutting tools for CNC Department.
  • Sets up CNC Machining holders with appropriate equipment.
  • Issues tools and equipment and maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returned.
  • Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory
  • Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such Manual Mills/Lathes, Drill Press, Grinders, and other support equipment.

Qualifications:

  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience
  • Knowledge of CNC cutting tools

$30.00-$40.00 per hour

Experience:

- tool room: 2 years (preferred)

  • Manufacturing: 3 years (preferred)
  • CNC machine: 3 years (preferred)
