Toolroom Machinist

**TOOL ROOM TECHNICIAN, TOOL GRINDER/TOOL SETTER**

VAC Developments is a growing Canadian Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing Company located in Oakville. We are seeking a Toolroom Machinist to join our Team

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintains/grind cutting tools for CNC Department.
- Sets up CNC Machining holders with appropriate equipment.
- Issues tools and equipment and maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returned.
- Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory
- Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such Manual Mills/Lathes, Drill Press, Grinders, and other support equipment.

**Qualifications**:

- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience
- Knowledge of CNC cutting tools

**Salary**: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- tool room: 2 years (preferred)
- Manufacturing: 3 years (preferred)
- CNC machine: 3 years (preferred)
